Was this okay to say?

I usually don't care if he talks to girls because I have guy friends and I talk to them but he's hidden talking to his ex before and so I saw he was talking to another female and was genuinely curious because she didn't look familiar. I'm also just scared because I've been cheated on before.

he called me shortly after I sent it because he's at work so it was easier. I expected to hear an angry voice but he wasn't angry he was very sweet and reassuring, he thought I was talking about the noise that was on his phone, but the chat bubble was a group chat from our small church group which makes sense because I looked at my phone and it was there. I'm just always so nervous when it comes to stuff like this, but I'm thankful he was calm and sweet about it❤
