What are your stories? What is the worst things people have done to you? How and why do you think it happened?

And to our cishet people: use this as an opportunity to listen, you may discuss, but do NOT overrule a LGBT+ persons experience.

Cishet people, feel free to ask questions, but understand not everyone will answer them. Use this as an LGBT+ AMA.

Here's a couple of my stories:

(I am a pansexual cis woman)

I was walking down the street, and on my backpack I have a pin of a heart with the LGBT+ flag, some man looked at me and said "I find that lifestyle... well... I just disagree with it". And later when I was walking away, I overheard him talking about how much of a "faggot" I was.

Another time I accidentally bumped a girl and she was like "ew sorry! Don't get the wrong impression, I'm not into that nasty shit"

*i know this isn't necessarily controversial but I think people need to understand that in the daily I'm called names and given nasty looks. And I want us all to share our stories. Even if it's a little one that people deem "not phobic"
