Smoking weed while pregnant?

I have looked up if smoking marijuana is safe while pregnant and i have came across many articles and one certain study that proves marijuana does not harm your unborn child in any way. What do you guys think?

I cant believe u would even consider this. I have wanted a child for sometime and would never consider doing anything like this. The fact that your even asking should show u that there is a question on whether it would harm the baby. A no brainer!

it cause behavor problems in toddlers as it does in one of my adopted kids. the bio mom smoke pot white pregnant and she also born smaller and weigh only 5 pounds and 6 oz at 39 weeks  don't do it for the sake of your unborn child if u did how could u live with yourself knowing that u cause all these problems and it can be prevented if u don't smoke the pot

While studies haven't proven any side effects coming from Marijuana use during pregnancy, smoke of any kind can be harmful. Also, some states test babies for drugs when they're born, and can take a child away if the child tests positive. If it's legal in your state, edibles are probably the best way to go if you feel the need to use Marijuana while pregnant.

Why risk if it if it's something you don't need ? Just my opion on it but it's not like water or air or food you can live without it for 9 months

I just read about a study where they looked at baby's at the same stages in mothers who smoked and mothers who didn't smoke and baby's with mothers who smoked during pregnancy didn't have full control of their motor skills at whatever week that begins I forgot but the baby's basically just kept smacking themselves in the face where as baby's in mothers who didn't smoke had better control over their motor skills and were not continuously hitting themselves in the face but rather sucking on their thumbs/fingers I don't know if it was only studied on cigarettes or any kind of smoking but I wouldn't risk it with my baby I'll let my baby decide when he is an adult if he wants to take risks with his own health

You know, I wouldn't risk it no matter what they say, especially if there are more sides to it. Primary aim is to give birth to a healthy baby and if this isn't proven to help, I wouldn't use it! :)

Babies can have withdrawals so I wouldn't. But other than withdrawals I don't believe it harms the baby in any other way. But I haven't done too much research.

My sister in law smoked when she was pregnant she had twins not sure if it had much to do with this but they were born 10 weeks early one of the girls has a cleft pallet holes in her heart and other health problems she is 8 months old and weighs 12 lbs they aren't sure if its the cleft pallet or something else...I don't have anything bad to say about anyone who smokes but don't do it while you're pregnant too many risks...also the twins were tested and one came back positive so dhs did get involved so up to you if you wanna risk it
