Does your ob do a sonogram at every visit?

I think it depends on medical and age factors. I got one every time due to placenta position and being 35 when the baby is due.

I'm a bit jealous of the girls that do. The only time I've had one was to find out the gender.

I have Kaiser Permanente, they have an ultrasound machine in every room, I'm 14 weeks and I've had 3 ultrasounds so it's looking like I get one every time. The machine in the room isn't nearly as good as the one in the actual ultrasound room though

My OB is super old lol and he can never find a heartbeat on the fetal monitor so he always has to check with what he calls the beast. I don't mind I get to see my little man every three weeks, now down to every two weeks!!

I'm 26 weeks with identical twin girls and they share a placenta, giving them extra high risk and need for attention. I get ultrasounds weekly, now. Yes, it's lovely to see them on the screen and get so many cool pictures. But I would be careful what you wish for. Going through the lack of sleep and worry every night before the appointment is really horrible. I would much prefer that my twins be healthy then to get regular ultrasounds.

Depends on a lot. I got one every 6 weeks until I was 14 weeks and then they moved them to every two weeks because i was bleeding really bad and they wanted to make sure I wasn't losing her. Once I hit 28 weeks they went back to every 6-8 weeks.

So far I'm 12 weeks and I've gotten one every time I've gone in , I think towards the very end it probably won't be as often
