Menstrual cup??

Question

Ok so I'm using this for the first time. I started my period yesterday but was using my tampons. Now today I'm trying the cup but I'm really terrified I don't have it in right. It's in now but there's a little blood coming out. Is that leftover that's in there or what? The cup is open cause I felt it pop. The little stem is supposed to be sticking out almost like a tampon string or its supposed to be inside? It went up there so high I have to squat on the floor to even feel the stem.

Don't worry, it was really hard for me the first time. Insert your finger and run it around the cup just to make sure it is all open. You can feel it pop, but there might not be a suction. I have a really high cervix too,  that's why it is up so high. It probably didn't have a suction at all, that's why it is leaking and going up so far. Just make sure it had a suction, and bear down to get it out. You'll get the hang of it, don't worry. Check out precious Stars Pads on you tube, she has all the answers.

Did you buy the right size? There are two sizes depending on if you have given birth or not. And yes a little blood will leak when you first put it in but that will stop and it will catch the rest of your flow. Use a panty liner and you should be fine.
