Do online pyramid scheme sales groups feel a bit culty to you?

Every time one of my (sometimes even good) friends gets super involved with things like purium, younique, lularue, etc it seems to completely take over their lives. Has anyone else noticed that? 😂 like every single fb post is a sales post like "omg I sat and watched tv all day but my lularues made it really incredible!" They have groups and their social events turn into sales events. I just read one of these posts on here and it made me think of it.
