What week should we get first ultrasound?

What week did everyone get to see/hear something on the ultrasound?
I'm 5 weeks but am dying to go and get one but don't want to go too early in fear of not seeing anything yet!

Typically if you're not high risk they don't see you until 8-12 weeks for first scan

I had one at 5w6d and saw the heartbeat and heard it 117 beats per minutes! Had another one at 8 weeks, 10 weeks, and one yesterday at 11w5d!!! My doctor does one for me each visit.

Most doctors wont give an ultrasound until after 8 weeks. There isn't much to see before then.

I went at 5weeks with my first daughter and didn't see much. At 7weeks we could see the heartbeat. That was in Germany. Here in the UK they don't do an ultrasound before 12weeks

My first U/S isn't until I'm 8 weeks. I know some who have to wait until 10-12 weeks before they will do an ultrasound. I'm getting one done sooner because I just had a miscarriage last month and they want to make sure things are progressing correctly. I understand I feel ya though girl! This wait so see my little bean is killing me!!!

Mine is at 10w 2 days (my guess) but it'll be the dating U/S so the time could change.

I had one at 6 weeks 4 days, saw the baby and the heartbeat was 150bpm but they measured it as 5 weeks 4 days. Had another 2 weeks later and it's measuring 8 weeks 4 days which means the 1st scan wasn't accurate. I'd wait until 8 weeks, the first scan freaked me out thinking baby wasn't growing.

I had my first ultrastand at 6weeks then again at 7w5d, then my next one isn't until I'm 20weeks, which is soon!
