I'm 17 weeks and 5 days pregnant, I was having for two days straight really bad pressure in my lower abdomen and was urinating every half hour. On day two my lower back started hurting has well, I went to my clinic to see my obgyn as a walk in and was immediately told to go across the street to the hospital to labor and delivery. Needless to say I was freaking out at this point, when I got there which was for the first time ever since I'm a first time mom, and they hooked me up to the machine to get the baby's heart beat monitored for 20 minutes and to track his movement. He was moving a lot and they kept losing his heart beat because he was jumping from place to place. They took my urine and did a sonogram and he was beautifully fine bouncing around lol. The urine came back negative and I was pissed because how the hell am I in so much pain and there's nothing wrong with me ! Before I left I saw a senior doctor and asked her what should I do as they discharged me and she said wait i want you to get an internal ultrasound. Basically when that was done they pushed down with it inside of my vag to get a clearer view of my cervic and it burned and felt like ripping so I yelled out! The tech and the doctor looked at me and said we're going to send you home with antibiotics you have a UTI although it wasn't present in your urine. I knew I wasn't bugging and I was surprised that they was able to determine the issue the way they did. Now I'm feeling a little better after the first pill. Ladies if you know something is wrong ask questions and make it know what your feeling you don't have to suffer in pain.
