34+3 and possible labor imminent?

Hoping you guys have some insight on my situation. I am 34 weeks and 3 days pregnant, I have gestational diabetes, started intermediate (nph) insulin yesterday just at night. My son is weighing in as of today at 6#10oz (average according to this site is 4#7oz). Head and belly circumference are measuring 39weeks and 5 days. I have excess fluid (today was the highest it's been at a fluid index of 35 today). I think I have been losing my mucus plug the last few days and have irregular contractions that are progressively getting more painful through the days. Am I going to go early? I'm scared to go too early and looking for anyone who may have been in my situation or similar. Thank you in advance to all of you! 😍😘
