Help please??

Question

This is my first pregnancy, I took 3 HPT tests and the positive appeared almost instantly. My boyfriend and I are completely overjoyed but now what do I do? Do I see my PCP? Go to an OB? Hospital? I'm so clueless and lost on what to do. According to the app I'm 5w & 4 days.

Call an OB and set up an appointment, they'll schedule it for when they want to see you which is usually around 8-12 weeks

Depends on where you live. Here in Aus (At least in Tasmania) we usually go to our GP (PCP) first for blood work and booking in an ultrasound and then after a couple of months receive care from midwives at a hospital. We also get an OB but unless we're high risk we'll deal with midwives.

Go to your PCP to get your prenatal bloodwork done and to talk about your birthing options. Then you can decide to stay with them or go to ob, etc.
