Women having feelings for a man doesn't automatically make him "out of bounds". And if she's still pregnant there's not a great deal of responsibilities he'd have until that child is born.  So yes.

That's his relationship with her which doesn't concern you unless you end up in a serious relationship and assume a step parent role.

Well for starters I wouldn't because i dont want children which includes children that arent mine but are the guy im with. But how is he neglecting his fatherly duties? What is he supposed to be doing if the baby isnt even out yet?

Nope - I don't mind the baby on the way thing BUT I wouldn't date a man that skirts his responsibilities ... character is way too important to me

I have. But it was never going to be anything other than sex. I knew he was a father, but I didn't know he was a deadbeat father until after. I wasn't worried. His loss for walking away from his two beautiful babies. Nothing to do with me.

I put yes because I was recently in a situation like that. The guy I was "seeing", his ex was pregnant with his baby but he had no plans to get back with her. He planned on being in his child's life but that's all. He said his ex had too many issues so he would never get with her again. I had mixed feelings about it because I thought he was wrong for not even wanting to try with her for their child's sake but I was also familiar with his situation too because my son's father is a controlling jerk and I did leave him after my son turned one but I at least tried for a year... so I didn't really know what to think. Anyway... when his child was born he stopped talking to me and I figured he did end up trying to work things out with his ex. I knew that's what she wanted and I never even saw her or talked to her but what woman wouldn't want to work things with her child's father if he really is good man? I mean she even asked him to move in with her...

Why would get involved with a man who clearly has the ability to treat women horribly? including you. He's shiting all over another women while getting attention and I'm assuming sex off another. Having his cake and eating it to springs to mind.

No. He has a baby on the way and doesn't seem to care about that I'm sorry I have a kid and even if I didn't I wanted kids I wouldn't be with someone who can't realize when something so important is going on. He doesn't have to like her but he should be interested in the growth of his offspring
