Should I come out to my family?

I bisexual leaning more to being lesbian and my parents never been to fond for gays and so on plus my dad's in the hospital, but I been getting them to open up to the idea and to not say disrespectful thing towards the community and so far it's working but then they're is other lesbian and gays in the family but still I don't know should I. I really don't want to ruin what I have with my parents I really close to them plus it won't really change anything just the knowing versus not knowing.
