Opinions please 😊

Can I please get some opinions/advice? I'm still talking to my ex that my parents and everyone else I know hates him. He's one of my best friends and I don't know what I would do without him. We call every night. We live 6 hours away from each other but that doesn't stop us from being friends. We were together for 6 months and 2 days before he broke for someone else. We didn't talk for a couple of months afterwards but now we're fine. We were talking for about 3-4 months before we got together. Can I please get some opinions and/or advice? not sure what advice I'm asking for but it's out there. thanks 😆
