Guys I want to share good news! Haha I'm so proud of my kid! We introduced the nipple shield today and by his second time using it, Felix actually successfully latched, sucked, and swallowed! I pulled him away to let him rest and make sure he was breathing, and he went back to the nipple all on his own! It only lasted 10 minutes before he got too tired, but for me thinking he would never be able to breastfeed due to his prematurity, he's doing it!
