Help. What is this?

Does anyone know what this is? It's on my 17 month old sons foot. It's hard and swollen. It seems to hurt him when I touch it. Our doctors office is closed today so I'm wondering if I should take him to the ER. Thanks ladies.

That's definitely not an emergency. Please don't waste the time and resources of an emergency department for that. 
Urgent care would be more appropriate, they are fully equipped to handle that.

Possible spider bite. If uber worried go to urgent care not the ER. If he has a fever, vomiting, shaking/convolutions, or unusually lethargic/tired/sleepy then go to the ER.

my husband had a really sore toe he finally broke down and had to go to the ER it was actually an infection between the muscle and skin that is very serious and could actually cause you to lose a limb apparently so he got a bunch of shots in his butt and they put him on medication for 10 days. if it gets any worse I would take him to the ER

Thanks guys. We took him to the urgent care clinic even though the doctors here at ours are quacks. He told me "watch it, if it changes, come back" which was not helpful at all. I already know that which is why I watched it for a few hours and it got much worse so I took him in. I'm taking him to his pediatrician tomorrow. Thanks for all the responses. He's never had anything like this so I was very worried. We have brown recluses at our house pretty often so I was worried he got bit by one. Hopefully that's not what this is. Anyways. Thanks for all the helpful replies.

It looks like 2 ant bites. My daughter had an allergic reaction to hers so just watch for signs like vomiting or being lethargic

Looks like a big bite. If he's fussy try to ice it a lil bit. It'll help any itchiness and bring down the swelling.

Looks like a bad bug bite. I'd watch and make sure the redness doesn't spread. Could be an abscess too
