Weight lifting at home tips

Hey! I am trying to lose around 30lb and also tone up, I've never really been a gym bunny, used to do a couple of classes a week and that was it.

I now don't have time to go to the gym as I have 3 kids under 5 and nobody to look after them as my partner works and goes himself. My youngest is 8mo.

Any tips/ideas to help? I am clueless when it comes to weight lifting and what helps what if you get me!
