too small for natural birth??

Everyone in my family says I'm going to have to have a C-section cause I'm to small to have a normal birth 🙁 I haven't spoke to my Dr about cause my appointment is still 2 weeks away 😩 (haven't seen Dr yet) but I am hoping I can have a natural birth 😕

Plenty of petite women have had vaginal births. Ignore them.

I myself am petite. I am 5'0 and 126lbs post baby. I had a healthy 8lb 1oz baby vaginally without tearing. Currently, I'm pregnant with baby number two and I'm sure I will again have a vaginal birth. Don't let others dictate to you what's possible or impossible.

Talk to you doctor, I was watching a vlog where a woman had her  around 34-35 weeks, and the nurse looked at her like "your pelvic area is definitely too small to push out a 38+ baby"... and her doctor never mentioned that previously

I'm a very slender person at 5'6. Currently I'm 115 lbs.. I was not much more when I got pregnant with my first and delivered a healthy 8lb 12pz baby easily! Size doesn't matter a ton. A friend of mine was pregnant at the same time as I and she is a larger person than me, and she had more trouble delivering a smaller baby than mine. It just depends :)

That's ridiculous... Well I don't know how small you are, but my mom and sister are 5 foot 2 and had natural births. I'm only 5 foot, I'm hoping to have a natural birth, I have never heard of being too small for natural birth..

I heard a lot of that too from family and friends. I'm 5'5 125 and only gained about 15lbs with this pregnancy but my belly was huge. I gave birth naturally to my son. He was a chunky little guy at 8.13 lbs. you can do it!!

I'm very petite as well and for this reason I thought that I was going to have a c-section too. But nope I had a vaginal birth and regardless of a few tears, all was good 😊

I read on this baby app that it doesn't matter if you are small, tall, short, petite, obese... it's all about the size of the baby and your pelvic size and how it stretches to accommodate the baby. I know a lot of skinny small petite women who have had natural births 🙂
