disabled?

Question

for those of you who have chronic pain, I notice alot of u say that it is a disability but I'm curioise why the other people don't think it is. I have chronic pains and I find it hard to go a out my daily life. is it not always this bad?

chronic pain can vary greatly from person to person, some may have chronic mild pain and some may have debilitating pain. whether a person considers themselves disabled or not is a pretty individual thing, I think.

I'm curious too tbh. I've had chronic pain for the last 5 years and I lost my job (and subsequently my home) because of it. It's absolutely disabling for me. But everyone's different, so I suppose for some people they just experience it differently and don't consider it to be quite as much of a hindrance, or they power through it somehow. I know someone who has multiple disabilities and past injuries, and despite his incredible level of pain he never misses work unless his doctor says he's not allowed to go.
