When to test ovulation?

Hey! This is technically our first month of TTC and I'm trying to use an opk. My app says today is day 1 of the FW, so should I use the opk now or wait a day or 2? Has this really worked for any of you?

Answer

If you are unsure when you ovulate or just starting out I suggest testing from the end of your period. Every day. Usually afternoon or evening works best. The app uses estimates and can be totally off. So I suggest starting early in case you ovulate earlier than projected. 
And yes. Worked great getting pregnant last time. :)
