Scheduled Section Mamas: How far were/will be?

Hi ladies 2nd time c section mum here! With my first I was induced then had to do an Emergency section due to fetal distress (40wks 2days). I am having a scheduled section with this one. It's scheduled when I'll be 39 weeks. How far were you  (in all of your  sections if you had previously)  or will you be for this c section?

With my first I was 25 weeks, with my second I was 35 weeks. This go around I'm praying so hard to make it to 37 weeks. My doctor won't let me go past that.

Can I ask you what was the tipping point that put you in the direction of a scheduled repeat csection instead of going for a VBAC?
My first delivery story is the exact same as yours- the ptosin from the last stage of the induction was what caused the fetal heart rate decelerations. Then- boom- emergency csection.  Uhg.  
Now I am considering VBAC vs repeat caesarean.
Like you (it sounds like) the conditions that caused my first csection are not relevant this time around.  So a csection is not an automatic requirement. 
All the risks of bad outcomes seem to be greater for second section vs VBAC- EXCEPT that 1% chance of uterine rupture.
Is that what did it for you?

My first I labored and got to maybe 3.5 cm and just couldn't progress anymore. I did have a Dr tell me the opening in my pelvis is abnormally shaped and unless it was a tiny baby I'd probly never have one naturally but they wanted me to try with my first, didn't go anywhere and had an emergency c section at 39+2. This baby I am scheduled for a c section 2 weeks from today and I'll be 38+3. I'm getting so nervous as it gets closer!

I was 39w1d and I'm glad it wasn't any later because I started having contractions the night before

With both of my babies I've had to have a c-section but my hips won't spread and my pelvic arch isn't big enough. Both of mine were different my first one I passed out on my poor nurse bc I hate needles and they didn't show me my son as they took him away. Then with my daughter I knew what was to come but it's still scary bc it's surgery but my doctor at least showed me my daughter before she was taken away. The hard part for me is the needle in my spine and them taking my lil one away before holding them for the first time oh and then wait for your milk to come in.
