Age Gap exceptions/ when is it not appropriate?

Which age gap is too long to be appropriate for dating? I believe love is love and age shouldn't define it if it works for you. Opinions?

I think age of the partners matters in this sense:
A 15 year old dating a 20 year old is not acceptable but a 25 year old dating a 30 year old is fine.  So difference in age doesn't matter when both are adults but when it comes to minors it matters.

I would personally not go over 7-8 years.

My personal cut off is 5 years. But thats because my parents are 16 yrs older than me and i dont want to date my parents peers 🙃

I mean I obviously wouldn't date anyone under the age of 18, but beyond that it really depends on the person. I dated a 23 year old when I was 19 and it was a disaster, but I've had a thing for a guy in his 30s (more than 10 years my senior) and it didn't seem weird at all.

I think it has more to do with your level and life experiences. But generally speaking, teenagers are not exactly chocked full of life experience so they should stay within their bracket for a few more years

i read/voted wrong. it's worded weird. i wouldn't go over 5-10 years based off my personal preference.

I date up to 6-7, maybe 8 years older (if I love him) but that's just me.
