Funeral with baby?

Question

My husbands great grandma just passed and we've talked about bringing our son or not. It's very possible we won't have the option to NOT bring him, if my mom is working. 
Has anyone had to go to a funeral or such with your LO? How'd it go? 
I told my husband if anything, I can always take him outside or something. I'm just kinda worried about it all.

I took my daughter to a couple of them and she was fine, if your baby gets fussy while they are doing the service just go outside until your LO calms down, other than that taking a baby really seems to cheer people up a little bit at least

My husband's Papaw (basically his dad) passed away just three days after our daughter turned three months old. We had my mom and dad bring her for the visitation/wake and she was getting upset (probably because strangers were holding her) and since she was crying, they took her home. Our plans were to have them take her home before the funeral started, anyway.

We've gone to two funerals with our now 4 month old and it's totally fine! I say bring your baby!

We had to take ours to our nephew's funeral. It wasn't an option to me. Even though she'll never remember him, I wanted her to be there. Cole was born 9 days after our daughter. He died about a week before he would have turned 3 mo old. For the most part, she was fine. She of course let us know when she was wet or hungry. We brought the germx and asked everyone who held her to germx their hands.

I think it would be fine for your baby to go. We go to church every Sunday and when my son gets fussy I just take him out of the service.
