Can scar tissue from a head trauma cause headaches years later?

I was in a car accident in 2009 that left me with a head injury. I had to have seven staples at the top of my head near my forehead. I've noticed that when I have headaches they're usually over the scar tissue of the accident. Can this be normal?

Back in 2009 when i was 16 my mom and i got into a fist fight i ended up biting her forehead fracturing her skull the indent is still there and from time to time she still gets headaches since then we have repaired our relationship and have moved on from that time 
In 2010 my dad choked me out and punched my right eye fracturing the bone i still get small headaches not as much as i used to but every once i awhile i get them we never really repaired things between us since we were never really close to begin with but hes never put a hand on women since that day
