Severe headaches an early pregnancy sign?

I am due to have my period in a couple of days. My husband and I are NOT wanting children. I have been feeling my normal signs of my period coming as usual...but I am having some headaches the past few days and I have no idea why. It's not normal for me...i am very active and hydrated and I eat a healthy diet. Researching headaches as an early pregnancy signs has brought up mixed results. Have any of you out there experienced this before a positive test?

They can be common with periods, but also common with pregnancy. I know I have them almost the whole first trimester, but i also get bad headaches here and there with my periods i think at this point its just kinda a 50/50 thing and a matter of waiting

I had bad headaches a few months ago and then a super heavy period came with lifetime- record bad cramps, so definitely wasn't pregnant! But it was weird for me and I was wondering that too. Nope! Just a weird period I guess.
