Pubes???

I don't really want to shave, and don't think I will. BUT. I want my hair really short, and I only have scissors, but they make the hair hella uneven. The comb method doesn't work well but I could try again. Should I like put conditioner in it first so it's easier to cut orrr what? I just don't want patchy pubes. I'm not currently sexually active but I like seeing it look okay in the mirror. PLEASE COMMENT
