Yup. This happened to a friend. Most of the time in the U.S. they put a warning on the bottle to use a backup method of birth control. (My friend was living in Costa Rica at the time and they do not put a warning on the bottle)

My p.a at drs clinic didn't say anything about back up the pharmacist didn't n i was pertected on the pill sprintec obviously the combo isn't a mix i even took the pill n antibiotic same time  every day i been taking the pill so either the pill failed or the antibiotic helped the pill fail either way i was pertected

I've taken every day not at the same time which could be the reason i ended up pregnant my aunt was the one to give me my pill  i had it set when to take it ever day but obviously that wasn't good enough

Nope, its not the antibiotic considering you said you're around 12wks and you only started the antibiotic on thursday. A fertilized egg wouldnt have even implanted in 3 days time, let alone be detectable by a test.
