C-Section

I have a legitimate fear of vaginal birth. My husband was a breach baby, and my mom had serious complications with my baby sister that led to irreversible developmental issues. And I know that every birth is different, but these factors are causing me great concern over the safety of my child.

How are all these women having elective c-sections if my doctor is looking at me crazy when I ask about this? I don't understand how so many people have these c-sections if most doctors are against elective c-sections.
