Are Any of you getting the flu shot for your LO?

Please tell me why or why not?!

She will get it and so will the rest of the family. Thousands of children are hospitalized due to influenza every year, and sadly hundreds die. That's not a risk I'm willing to take.

We won't be getting it. No one I know has ever actually had the flu and this is the only vaccine for which I believe benfits do not outweigh the inconvenience caused by having the vaccine done every year.

I just don't believe in the immunization. The flu is something that can be fought off by our bodies. It's not like polio and other deadly illnesses. I personally believe that they weaken our immune system. But like I said that my personal belief, I know all the "studies" say different. My child gets all the other "required" vaccines.

We haven't gotten it. He gets all of his other shots, but I don't like the flu shot. There are so many strains of it, it just seems pointless. I always get sick when I get it and I hate to make him miserable when he could still just catch another strain of the virus anyway.

I am getting my son a flu shot becuse I'm due with another son in November and he will be too small and young to get flu shot or to possibly fight off the flu.
