Is it ok to put formula in the refrigerator after its been sitting out?

My hubby and I had to travel this morning and I made 2 bottles of powdered formula for our son. One bottle is already finished and the other I didn't have to use so it's been sitting in my purse with a top covered.

um I believe it's supposed to only be sitting at room temp for an hour. So I would toss it if it's been more then that better safe then sorry :) if not more then an hour throw it in the fridge

It's best to just put the water in the bottle and then when you need it, add the formula. Then none will go to waste because at max you can only have it out 2 hours and sometimes that not even acceptable
