When do you ovulate after an LH surge?

I'm just starting to do OPK tests this cycle. I've read on Glow that ovulation happens 12–36 hours after an LH surge (positive OPK), but the pamphlet in my OPK test box says 24–48 hours.
Anyone know the answer, preferably from a doctor or expert?

My understanding is that most women ovulate 12-36 hours after a positive OPK. This cycle has been different in that way. I got my first positive OPK and peak reading on the CB digital on Sunday, but according to my chart and temps I didn't ovulate until 48 hours later.
