Nexplanon implant and period

I'm in my second year using Nexplanon and my period last for at least 2 weeks EVERY MONTH now; it was 3 weeks last month. It wasn't heavy, just spotting or light.

It wasn't like this the first year. I almost has no period in my first year using it. Also, my acne started to act up a year ago too. This never happened when I'm on the pill. I thought pill and implant are the same, just different in the way we take it.

I told my doctor and she just said if I don't feel good about it, I can ask the doctor who put it in to take it out earlier than the expiration date.

I don't know if this is because of a bad stick I got or it's just my body doesn't feel happy with the whole implant thing. I'm thinking between replacing the stick or remove it and go back to pill. I love the security from implant, but this kind of period is too much.

Anyone have the same problem? What did you do about it?
