I didn't get to hold my baby after I gave birth to her ...

I'm pregnant with baby #2 now. Which we found out we're having a son. We have a 1 yr old daughter.

I'm excited to give birth to him ! His due date is on Jan 2nd 2018.

I'm watching videos on YouTube of women giving birth & i noticed every single one , they got the chance to hold their baby !

I feel like they robbed that moment from me! When I went to get my daughter after I pushed her out , the nurse told me "No! Wait !" And cut the cord & took her to clean her up! I was waiting the whole time to hold her ! They were sewing me up and all that , & im like can I hold my baby!?!

I had a awful experience!

The doctor wasn't there , just that stupid nurse ! Now thinking about it .. she could of been new for all I know ! She didn't even want me to push my baby out ! When she told me her heartbeat was low, I went for it I pushed all I can and she was out ! no doctor in sight ! My father & husband was there with me ! my dad was my doctor basically !

I am so hurt and angry! They cleaned her up and took her away from me !

I didn't get to see her and hold her until hours later ! I am so hurt , thinking back!

Maybe it was because she was a New Years baby..she was born Jan 1 2016 at 2:16 am...but it doesn't give it an excuse for their behavior !

Maybe it's in my head...but this time , I'm going to speak up ! I will hold my baby and have my moment with my son!
