Breastfeeding troubles
I had my LO on Sunday and in the hospital he seemed to be latching fine but it wasn't until a few days later that I realized he definitely wasn't. He makes a chewing motion instead of sucking and it hurts like absolute hell. I mean millions of needles in my nipples for a good minute to the point where I'm in tears. It does get less painful as he feeds but still hurts the whole entire time. I've done everything to fix his latch and he refuses to eat any other way than what he's used to. I'm not sure if my nipple shape is too flat for him or what but I want so badly to be able to breastfeed. I started pumping this morning because I just couldn't handle the pain but I don't enjoy feeding him with a bottle like I enjoy breastfeeding. I called a lactation consultant today at 9 am and they never called me back. Please give me some advice 😔 any websites or anything. Is it possible to not be able to breastfeed?
