Swimming pool?

Hi mommies... have you taken your babies to the pool yet? I'm so tempted to take my baby who is a little older than 6 months but worried about the pool water incase she swallow water and get sick??? Pls let me know your experience..

My daughter has been swimming twice. My husband and I switch between holding her the whole time and putting her in a float. She really likes it! 😄

I did a mother baby swim class with Liam once he turned 4 months and he loved it!! They taught different ways of carrying him to be safe in the pool. Babies always have their hands in their mouth so even if you avoid it, they're bound to get some water in their mouths.

I took mine in the pool at 2 months! She loves the bath so I figured she'd love the pool. We were going on vacation and I got the okay from my pediatrician to use an organic sunscreen. It was great and my baby loves the water - we've been swimming now several times this summer. No issues at all.

signed my 6mo old up for "swimming lessons" today. She starts on the 14th, so excited. It doesn't really teach her to swim but get use to the water. Is a parent and tot class, I'm not a big fan of water things so this is a little out of my comfort zone. Hopefully she doesn't have the same issues I did as a kid by starting her early (I use to refuse to put my face in the water and failed the first level of swimming lessons  because of it when I was 5)
