Fast heartbeat?

I had my first ultrasound at 8w4d and hb was 182, yesterday at 12w4d it was 177. Both times my dr said it was fast, but okay. Is it really okay? I can't find anything online about what a fast heartbeat means, but everywhere says 160 is the high end of normal. Sometimes 170. So it just seems like my baby's heart is really fast. Anyone else had this happen?

At 10 weeks and 4 days my babies heart rate was 179. My doctor told me between 120-200 was normal

You're around the point where it's the highest it will be, it will go down and level off soon.

My baby was 185 at 9 weeks, 170 at 12 weeks, and now he is around 145 at 17 weeks :) I was told under 190 is normal and it will slow as you go.

theres lots of things that can affect this. if you are stressed the baby tends to feel it too and move around more and squirm. sometimes they are just being more active. it is variable like your own heart rate. i think 10-20bpm shouldnt be too much of a worry and it should come down when baby grows more (their heart beats faster when theyre small). im not a doctor but i think you should just see if it improves with the next ultrasound if they didnt see anything alarming with this one.

My first daughter was 177 at 8 weeks 4 days, it lowered as the pregnancy went on. Now my current pregnancy another girl was 181 at 8 weeks 3 days, then at 11 weeks 5 days was 170, now at our 20 week 6 day ultrasound it was 155. I've always been told she has a heartbeat in the normal range.  Both girls just started out fast and slowed down some.
