Am I wrong for being upset?

So my boyfriend is no stranger to ignoring his phone. Tonight he had to help his cousin install an AC unit at his place. I know that its a long process but my boyfriend cant ever let me know whats up. He said itll take 2 hours and that was at 6:30. Its 10. I called him and he said its going to be another 2 hours.. I start a new job Sunday and all I wanted was to have a night with him. I got to go to bed at 8 pm tomorrow so I wont be able to have any drinks with him or whatever. Its frustrating. We were supposed to go to the store tonight too.
