How do I tell a boy that I'm gay?

I need help, like urgently 
So this summer I've been with this guy and we've gone on a couple of dates and I've kissed him and he's gotten really emotionally attached.
The only problem is it's made me realise I'm gay. (I identified as bi but being with this guy has made me realise im not interested in boys at all)
How do I let him know this without him hating me forever?

"Hey we need to talk. I know we've been dating for a while and as you know I thought I was bi before but over the past few months I've realized I'm just a lesbian. It's obviously nothing you could have effected and I promise I'm not just trying to give you a lame excuse to break up. I have just finally figured this out about myself and this relationship isn't going anywhere for either of us. I hope we can still be friends but I understand if you don't want to talk to me anymore." and if he takes it well, thank him for being civil about it.

Tell him something like, "hey, ive recently figured out I'm gay, I'm sorrytodo this to you, because youre (a really nice guy perhaps, idk him)"
