Induced?

My doctor has brought up inducing me because of several reasons. 1. My boyfriends job is very demanding, and obviously he's gonna be there. He is a special trades maintenance, and is put on light duty coming up here next week (he can't start a project, than have to be off) 2. We just bought a house, & move in on the 15th. Renovating the kitchen before me and baby move in though. 3. Baby is measuring normal/big 4. Conscience for both him and I. Do you think it's a good idea? I like knowing when it's gonna happen, and that it wont a surprise? Also than my mom can plan accordingly with work. Pros and cons? I'm due oct 1st, and is talking about inducing me the last week in September.
