Clear Blue Advanced OPK Help!

I've been using Clear Blue Advanced opk for two cycles now.

Last cycle- two flashing smilies. Two solid smileys. Then to double check I got an O. Next day I checked again for good measure and got the solid smiley. Looking at my bbt chart, looks like I ovulated that second time I checked.

Now on second cycle with this kit. I've been getting 4 days of flashing smileys. Is this normal?

Getting a little frustrated. Last month if I wasnt neurotic and double checked (even though you're not supposed to) I would have missed my window.

Anyone else have 4 or more days of the flashing smiley? I have the Amazon cheapies too and I'm checking with those. But they are coming back negative. One of the tests are playing tricks on me!
