implantation bleeding or A/F early?

How do you tell the difference between implantation bleeding or AF arriving early?  I'm not supposed to have AF until 9/6 but when I wiped this morning I was spotting and it was a deep bright red....

Sounds by the color it's af but it's not unheard of to have darker implant bleed
