Long Distance College Relationship

So I recently graduated from high school and around February I got into my first relationship with a boy and we started having GREAT SEX! almost every week up until we left for school. He goes to a school in Texas as I am in Nc. He plays basketball and rarely has time to talk due to classes and workout(basketball schedule). Do you have any tips on how to keep the relationship smooth. And what should I do because I miss the sex lmao?
