Type 2 diabetic, what's your medication regime?

I've been a diabetic since I was 21, I'm 30 now and have only been on oral meds; metformin, glipizide and then eventually januvia was added after my first pregnancy. Now I've just been given insulin, fast and slow acting, to replace the oral meds and I'm on a sliding scale of 2 units depending on my glucose levels. I'm feeling like it's not enough but I'm also worried about ending up needing a higher dosage. For those of you on insulin, what are your doses?
