How Old is too Old

I will be 35 in 2 months but after getting my nose pierced 3 months ago (my only piercing other than ears since I let my naval close years ago) I have become intrigued with tongue piercings. My hubby says I'm too old but I still want to get my tongue pierced. I'm wondering how old is too old? I should also mention I am the mother of a 3 year old and hoping for #2 in the very near future (been trying for a year). With that being said I also wonder if a tongue piercing is too inappropriate for motherhood? Thoughts?
