need advice

My husband and I have a set of best friends. Like married friends. they've been married just over a year and together for 4 or 5 years. They recently moved home which is about a 6 hour flight from us and we miss them lots. A couple of nights ago the male friend threw a party and got extremely drunk.. His wife, the female friend, cleaned up after the party which is when she found her husband and her best friend half naked in bed together... With a condom on the floor 😡 I've been there as much as I can for the female friend who feels so hurt betrayed and lonely, but obviously from across an ocean there is only so much I can do! We haven't really spoken to the male friend and when the female asked him if he had cheated he claimed to be too drunk to remember anything 😑 obviously the female friend has blocked all communication with her "best friend" but she is going back home to try and give her marriage a shot, even though she isn't sure she will be able to. I have no preference on what she decides, whether she leaves him or stays with him as long as she is happy. Being our best friends we asked them to be godparents to our little boy who is due in 2 weeks. But if they divorce I'd hate to ask both of them still, don't want things to be awkward. The male is my husbands best friend but he hasn't spoken to my husband since before the party. How do we actually decide on which one to ask and which one to actually still have as part of our lives?
