False positive pregnancy tests!

Jasmine

So long story short, ive done a little testing and from what i have established is if you are testing ovulation and (like me got bored and curious) and tested hcg at the same time, this could lead to a false positive. Let me explain.

If you test lh and hcg one at a time and place them separately on the counter, you will be fine.

If you test lh and hcg one at a time and place them touching on the counter, or hold them together to get an idea of where your hcg line would be, you may get a false positive.

I dont know how or why. But when you place two tests touching each other for any amount of time the lh will turn the hcg positive. Giving you a false positive.

The top two where touching while in the 3 minute frame, the second 2 where touching while in the 3 minute frame,

The last one was tested by itself away from other tests.

I believe the last one is true.

Im only 3 days past ovulation... So i truly believe these to be false positives.
