Help can't get pregnant

So my bf and I are trying to get pregnant we have been trying to get pregnant for the past two years and it's not happening

We try ever mouth when we're meant to

But nothing

And I'm not sure weather it meant have something to do with me being on the pill and the rod at the same time (only for a week) but when I got the rod put in I had my period for 3 months (it was a light flow) but it was still there another my period stop I had the rod removed and find out it didn't even work .... a year later we started trying and we have had 3 miscarriage

So now I just don't know
