sex and intimacy issues

so my bf made a point to tell me that him and his ex used to have sex like rabbits all the time. and me and hi. live together so it not like having sex is a problem and be a healthy able bodied 20 year old. however he makes it seem like sex with me is a chore. I'm either pushed away or if it happens he gets his in quick and that's it. normally when we first got together he gave me the dick until I couldn't walk straight. and I was still fascinated with him then and even more so now even tho he barely touches me. I've talked to him about it and he's like I don't want our relationship to be all about sex. It's not when you have love involved. so what do I do?
