Any first time moms worried about MMC?

I'm pregnant with my first baby and all I can think about is MMC, I'm 9w3d and it's all I think of 😭 anyone else in the same boat??

I know the fear!! My first pregnancy ended in a MMC at 9w5d. Baby measured 9w3d. No bleeding, cramping or anything. Still was super nauseated and throwing up. The only reason I knew was because I work in a clinic and was dopplering myself and figured I would be able to get it by then. I then sono-ed and there was no heartbeat. I had seen its heartbeat a few times during pregnancy so I thought I was good. I waited another two week and still no signs of passing anything so I opted to take misoprostol since I was still throwing up daily. I then was pregnant a few months later and was so worried about being worried (crazy, right! ;) I decided that this new life was just as special as the last and I didn't want my experience before to take away from loving this one, so every day I woke up and made the commitment to love on this baby even if it was with me only a few weeks or the rest of my life :) ❤️ That really helped squelch my fears and worries. I also work in healthcare and have had to deliver babies at 20 weeks that stopped living, delivered 18 week babies born breathing that only lived a few minutes, and delivered full term babies born stillborn. Experiencing all these terrible things could make me a very scared and anxious person but I don't want that. Instead I see life as a very precious thing and live each day loving as much as I can. Sorry for the long post but I am 9w2d pregnant today (in my "scary" week) so your post really resonates with me.

meeee..I'm worried about anything and everything. I had an ultrasound at 6w2d and all looked fine...now it's just a waiting game until my next one on October 2. So anxious.

Have you ever had one or did you already hear the heartbeat? If you already heard the heartbeat chances go down lower than 5% of a MMC or MC. Don't stress it's not good for the baby or for you. I had one last year and it was my first pregnancy. I never heard of one before that. This time we got a heartbeat so I'm happy. Stay positive

You may be able to find it with a home doppler. That will calm your fears.

It is hard not to worry! I am almost 7 weeks and I've been worried - I get to see my baby and heartbeat Friday! I just try to keep in mind that God is good all the time, everything happens for a reason, and the Lord will never put something on you that you cannot handle ❤️ we will be just fine 😊❤️
