Itchy skin at 25 weeks

My skin is extremely itchy all over to the point where I'm waking myself up scratching and making myself bleed! Nothing is helping not even the bath. It's getting in the way of my sleep and it feels like I got something crawling over my skin!! It's not just my belly it's my legs arms chest hands feet and my back, even my face!! My doctor sent me for blood tests done yesterday but I'm just looking for something to help easy the itching whilst waiting for the results or should I ring my midwife and see what she says as I haven't made her aware of this yet?? 😓😓
