When did you start buying baby stuff?

I'm curious when I should start buying baby stuff ? I miscarried my first pregnancy in second trimester so this time around I'm even more worried ..

Everyone is different but since this is my first I'll be having a shower so I won't be buying anything until after that is done on the 18th of this month.

I found an outfit that my baby needed, whether I miscarry or not, any baby of mine will wear it.

As soon as you want. Whenever I couldn't fight the baby fever early on I bought a pack of diapers or wipes unless it was a deal I could not pass up. I stuck to gender neutral clothing until we found out the sex. I didn't buy anything large until after our shower.

Im 27 weeks today and Im just so excited I couldn't keep from buying a couple outfits (like 3). My husband also got excited and bought a couple onesies representing the pro hockey team he works for. We also bought a pack and play on amazon prime day because we got it at like 75% off and couldn't pass that up (and figured it was unlikely someone would buy that for us), and a bookshelf. Other than that, we do already have a lot of stuff because of people buying us things early. My parents bought the stroller, in laws bought the crib and dresser/changer, and sister in law gave us a ton of hand me down clothes and swings/rockers/playmats from her boys. We have one small shower this weekend and our big shower in 4 weeks and then we'll buy whatever else we need or want.

I started buying stuff when I was around 28weeks pregnant ,I'm currently 33weeks and so glad I've got everything I need because if you've reached your third trimester you won't have that much energy..

I am currently 24 weeks 3 days and so far haven't bought a thing. Finally starting to plan my baby shower and registry.
